Hi, I’m Jenni.
I’ve spent more than 26 years working with students who struggled with reading—and I’ve seen how quickly confidence can fade when learning doesn’t come easily. So many of the students I worked with were bright, creative, and capable—but they began to feel “lost” simply because reading didn’t click for them.
There had to be a better way
I knew these students didn’t need more pressure or more frustration. They needed instruction that was clear, structured, and supportive—so they could experience success from the very beginning.
Why I Do This Work
Over the years, I’ve seen what happens when students get the right kind of support. They begin to take risks, build real skills, and see themselves as readers.

• Helping students feel confident and capable
What I Believe
I believe every child can learn to read. And more importantly, I believe every child deserves to feel seen, feel supported, and believe in themselves.

About Jenni
26 years of experience as a classroom teacher and learning specialist, Jenni brings deep expertise and a calm, structured approach to every student she works with. She is passionate about helping all students—including those with learning differences—build the skills and confidence they need to become capable, independent readers.
Experience & Training
- 26 years as a K–8 classroom teacher and learning specialist
- Trained in Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, Multisensory Math, and Handwriting Without Tears
- Former Learning Specialist Department Chair (2010–2017)
- Board Member & Fundraising Chair, International Dyslexia Association (Rocky Mountain Branch)
Student Support & Assessment
Uses a range of trusted literacy assessments (CTOPP-2, DIBELS, TOWRE-2, GORT) to understand each student’s needs and track growth over time

Supports study skills and executive function development to help students become more organized, confident, and independent learners

Partners with families and school teams, reviewing evaluations and working together to support each child’s progress
Advocacy & Collaboration
- Partners closely with families and schools through clear, consistent communication
- Leads workshops for parents, teachers, and administrators
